057: Dan Droff - Bleep Blow DJ Set: Chillout, Ambient, Downbeat

On a Friday the 13th in 1981 Wouter Vergote was born in a Belgian city called Antwerp. He grew up in Norway, developing a passion for music which gradually orientated towards electronic music as soon as he moved back to Belgium at the age of twelve. Realizing he'd always been the guy that provided music whenever his friends got together, Wouter decided to hit the turntables. He bought two of them and "Dan Droff" made his first mix on the 1st of January 2000. More concerned about improving his skills than about being a deejay, Wouter spinned his music exclusively in his attic and later on in his student chamber. After four years of practice he started playing at parties and founded the electronic music collective "Silenced". Silenced promotes underground, talented artists, by putting small names on a big stage.
